Deposit BTC

Two ways to deposit:

  • From your connected wallet. The deposit panel can send BTC straight from the wallet you signed in with.
  • From any other wallet. Each account has a unique BTC deposit address. Copy it from the deposit panel and send to it from any wallet.

The app watches your address automatically.

Confirmations​

Bitcoin deposits require 4 network confirmations. This typically takes around 40 minutes. While waiting, the deposit panel shows the live confirmation count. You can close the app. The deposit will keep confirming in the background.

Minimum deposit​

₿0.00002 (2k sats). We recommend depositing at least ₿0.00051 (51k sats) as the minimum withdrawal amount is ₿0.000501 (50.1k sats).

Available vs deposited​

Your balance has two numbers:

  • Deposited: total BTC you've put in.
  • Available: BTC you can spend right now (write offers, buy options, or withdraw).

Creating an offer does not reduce your available balance. Available only drops when a buyer accepts your offer (and the option becomes active in your portfolio). At that moment, the corresponding BTC moves into a locked state, and the buyer's premium credits to your available balance immediately.
